My wife and I were among the first to start seeing Dr. Delcoco in the infancy of her practice. We have been blessed to see it go from about 2 exam rooms, a small seating area and reception area to taking up one whole side of the building plus a reception area across the hall! The staff was much smaller too, but now has grown to having a staff member to handle almost every situation. We joined Dr. Delcoco when our family physician decided to go back to serving in the hospital, giving up her practice. We did not have any specific medical issues at the time, but strongly believe that it is more important to be proactive and manage our health rather than waiting on some sickness to happen. Wellness Care has been the cornerstone of our relationship with Magnificat! Dr. Delcoco and staff addressed or referred us for every medical issue that has come up, from back issues to internal medicine. We remain on a steady follow up schedule which includes blood work to make sure there is nothing that catches any of us by surprise.
We added my wife’s parents over three years ago when we relocated them from Evansville, Indiana to Indy to be their caregivers locally rather than caregiving from a distance. The office made sure that they provided all of the geriatric care possible for the both of them.
Our favorite thing about Magnificat is that we don’t just show up for a “sterile” appointment, meaning that we are not treated as the “next patient” when we arrive. Everyone is friendly, glad to see us and always pleasant and talkative! It is just like coming to see family!! We discuss our health, issues and even pray together! We enjoy every nurse and know them by name and likewise, they know us by name, not just by our chart. We enjoy our relationship with Lori, the Practice Manager and Kyle, the Billing Manager too!! We can call or send a text anytime and get response from most of the staff — now, not later! There were some bumps along the way as the practice grew so quickly, but they have managed every step excellently. A great example is that, with a growing, thriving practice, you would expect wait times to increase — not with Magnificat! We actually get in sooner right now than when we first started coming.
My wife and I are both creatures of habit, and really do not like change much. We are pleased with our “habit” with Dr. Delcoco and our family at Magnificat!!
